Is the quote really fixed?

Yes. We quote after you tell us the job — the number we agree is the number you pay. If the job changes on the day (more items, an undisclosed fourth floor), we agree any difference before a single box is lifted. Things you told us about never change the price.

How fast can you actually move me?

Same day in most towns if you message before noon; next-day almost everywhere. London and the M25 are our priority zone with the deepest same-day coverage.

How do I get the most accurate quote?

Two postcodes, a list or photos of what's moving, and the access truth: which floor, is there a lift, how far is the parking. Sixty seconds of detail buys you a price that will not move.

Are you insured?

Every job carries goods-in-transit cover and public liability cover. Managed buildings can have written confirmation before move day. High-value items get their cover position confirmed in writing.

Do your drivers actually help carry?

Always — loading and unloading are part of every job, not a tip-dependent favour. Where stairs or weight demand it, we send a second (or third) crew member, priced into the quote.

Do you do long distance?

Daily. London to Manchester, Glasgow to Bristol, anywhere to anywhere — one van, one crew, door to door at one fixed price. Long-distance runs are often cheaper than people expect because you pay for the route, not the hours.

Can I travel in the van?

Usually one passenger can ride up front — confirm when you book so we send a van with the spare seat.

What about parking at my address?

We check the street situation before the day. If a permit or suspension is needed, we tell you exactly what to arrange or arrange it with you. Zone charges that genuinely apply are stated inside the quote, never added after.

What won't you move?

Hazardous stuff (fuel, gas bottles, chemicals), live animals, and anything illegal. Pianos, safes and 200kg wardrobes are fine — that's what the kit is for.

How do I pay?

On completion, by the method agreed when you book. No deposits for standard jobs; larger projects may agree staged terms in writing.
