Access & parking

Access, parking and the awkward bits.

Wherever you are, the things that slow a move are rarely the miles — they're narrow lanes, height barriers, loading restrictions and long carries from the nearest legal stop. We ask about access before quoting so the crew arrives with the right van and the right plan.

Got a tricky spot — a farm track, a pedestrianised centre, a car park with a 2.1m barrier? Tell us on WhatsApp. There's almost always a sensible answer if we know before the day.

Full pack or part pack — what do people actually choose?

Most popular is the 'fragile pack': we do the kitchen, glass, art and lamps, you do clothes and books. Full packs are common for families and anyone short on time. Both are fixed-price.

When do the packers come?

Usually the day before the van, so you can still live in the house overnight — beds and kettle packed last on the morning. Small homes can be packed the same morning as the move.

Are materials included?

Yes — boxes, paper, bubble, tape and wardrobe boxes all ride inside the quoted price. No last-minute dash for boxes from the supermarket.

Can you just deliver materials and let me pack?

Of course — we'll drop boxes, tape and paper ahead of your move at a straight price, and you take it from there.

Do you unpack too?

If you want it: boxes emptied, kitchen reassembled, cardboard taken away. Tell us at quote time and we'll build it into the same fixed price.
