Access & parking

Access, parking and the awkward bits.

Wherever you are, the things that slow a move are rarely the miles — they're narrow lanes, height barriers, loading restrictions and long carries from the nearest legal stop. We ask about access before quoting so the crew arrives with the right van and the right plan.

Got a tricky spot — a farm track, a pedestrianised centre, a car park with a 2.1m barrier? Tell us on WhatsApp. There's almost always a sensible answer if we know before the day.

Questions

Asked all the time.

My building needs a moving company's insurance certificate — can you provide it?

Yes, managed buildings often ask; we can send confirmation of our goods-in-transit and public liability cover to your building manager before the day.

There's no lift. Will you still move me?

Of course — most of London would never move otherwise. Tell us the floor and we'll size the crew for the stairs and fix the price accordingly. Nobody re-negotiates on your doorstep.

Can you handle a move-in time slot?

Yes. Lots of buildings only allow moves 10am–4pm or want the lift padded and booked. Tell us the window and we'll plan the run backwards from it.

What about parking outside my block?

We'll check the street before the day — permit zones, red routes, height barriers. If a suspension or permit is needed we'll tell you exactly what to arrange, or arrange it with you.

Studio flat — do I really need a big van?

Usually not. A long-wheelbase van swallows most studios in one careful trip, which keeps your quote down. We'll size it from your list or a 60-second video.
