These terms apply to services provided by UK Health Care Support Ltd (Company No. 15042717), trading as Man and Van Hire. Booking a job with us means you accept them.
Quotes are fixed prices based on the information you give us: the load, both addresses, access (floors, lifts, parking) and timing. If the job on the day materially differs from what was described — significantly more items, undisclosed stairs, a changed address — we will agree any revised price with you before work continues. We never change the price for things you told us about.
Cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your slot. Cancellations inside 48 hours may incur a reasonable charge reflecting reserved crew and van time. If we ever have to cancel on you, everything you've paid is refunded in full, immediately.
Please ensure: items are ready as described; you have the right to move the goods; parking arrangements you agreed to handle are in place; and anything exceptionally valuable or fragile was flagged at quote time. Boxes you packed yourself travel at your risk unless we packed them.
Hazardous materials (fuel, gas bottles, chemicals), live animals, perishable food over long distances, and anything illegal to possess or transport. If in doubt, ask first.
Every job carries goods-in-transit and public liability cover. Report any damage within 48 hours with photos. Our liability is limited to the insured values confirmed for your job; nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Traffic, weather and building delays happen; crews communicate honestly and arrive as close to the slot as physics allows. Where a delay is ours, we make it right; where a chain collapses or a key isn't released, we'll help re-plan rather than walk away.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales.
